Georgia Southern University – Lakeside Dining Hall
This project was overseen by Mr. Barrow Koslosky while working at Cogdell & Mendrala Architects, in Savannah, Georgia. In response to increasing demand for extended hours for food service, Lakeside Café (constructed in 1991) underwent a significant transformation, enabling the facility to fulfill the current role expected of university dining facilities as the third place – an important campus node for a wide range of formal and informal student activities.
The results have yielded a more inviting lively dining experience in a heavily used facility which as achieved LEED Certification.
